Surrounded by the treetops, the configuration of the house is around five courtyards. Under the wooden roof, the rooms are organized through the voids that define the house distribution. Wood panels and vertical reed cane, make up a cover that brings shade and shelter from the strong “huasteco” heat. The solar light filtered through the reed cane screens create changing light patterns and shades in the surface of the house.
