Kedao Jiahe (Sichuan) Innovative Technology Co., Ltd. invites landscape architects, urban designers, sustainability experts, and forward-thinking creatives from around the globe to participate in the Global Landscape Design Competition for the Production-Living-Ecological Circular System.
This international open call seeks visionary design proposals for a pioneering landscape and architectural prototype that seamlessly blends urban productivity, ecological restoration, and livable artistic environments. The competition aligns with China’s Beautiful China Initiative and draws inspiration from President Xi Jinping’s guiding principle: “Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.”
Participants are tasked with designing a six-story demonstration building (plus basement) that incorporates vertical farming, aquaponics, advanced microclimate control, and artistic landscape features across its façades and rooftop. The project aims to serve as a replicable model for future cities by eliminating urban pollution, enhancing food security, maximizing energy efficiency, and creating a powerful visual and environmental impact.
