Through the development of this degree project, a series of problems that result in the deterioration of urban centers are exposed, a situation that occurs in any city in the country or in Latin America. Santander de Quilichao, a city with accelerated processes of transformation is no stranger to these new dynamics. A rigorous urban, architectural and social analysis will result in a series of conditions and design lines that set the path for the proposal of an urban master plan, conceptual and a specific building (Building Market Gallery – Public Equipment) that will be the synthesis of the intentions, concepts and decisions that were made throughout this academic exercise.
