L A M P, an independent lighting design competition running since 2013, has opened its 2026 edition to professional and student designers, artists, industrial designers and architects. The regular deadline is 1 October 2026 and the late deadline is 15 October 2026; no pre-registration is required.

Entries compete in two main categories, Professional and Student, with the former Manufactured category now folded into Professional. Designs are grouped into subcategories including floor, table, pendant and sconce lighting. Each submission fee covers one design, and proposed designs and prototypes must not exceed 10 cubic feet.

Judging runs from 5 to 25 November 2026, with a People’s Choice online vote going live on 5 November and winners announced between 10 and 15 December 2026. Standout designs receive public recognition and cash awards, and the ten finalists can choose to have their pieces returned or sold at a silent auction with profits split 50/50. Entry fees are listed on the organizer’s website.
