The theme of NeoCon2025 is “Design Ahead” this year. The theme focuses on looking to the future of design. Annie Jean-Baptiste from Google, and author of Building for Everyone, will talk about how inclusive, people-focused design can lead to better and more meaningful products for all. Design critic Alice Rawsthorn, co-host of the Design Emergency podcast, will discuss how design can improve everyday life. Chris Barton, the founder of Shazam, will share the story of turning a bold idea into a widely used tech tool—and what designers can learn from his journey. In addition, NeoCon Talks will explore fresh ideas in creativity, workplace change, technology and AI, human-centered thinking, and storytelling in design.

NeoCon 2025’s CEU program will be available both on-site and virtually, featuring over 60 sessions tailored to today’s evolving design landscape. Topics will range from sustainable practices like circular design and decarbonization to emerging focuses such as Gen Z’s influence on design, neurodivergent-friendly spaces, and innovative materials powered by AI. CEU sessions, available both online and on-site, cost $50 each, or $45 per session when you purchase five or more. Workshops are priced at $75 each, while INSIDE DESIGN Experiences are $125.
