The “ADANA’DA BİR PAZAR | 120 SAAT Öğrenci Mimari Fikir Projesi Yarışması” is organized as part of the 3rd Adana Architecture Festival and will take place in a digital format over a span of 120 hours.
This competition aims to encourage architecture students to develop innovative solutions to societal and spatial issues, enhance their quick decision-making skills, strengthen their design-oriented thinking capabilities, and improve their ability to present their ideas effectively across various platforms. The competition topic will be announced on October 1, 2026, at 19:00 via digital platforms (www.adanamimarlikfestivali.com, www.adanamimod.org.tr) and on Instagram. Following the announcement, participants will have 120 hours to submit their projects digitally by October 6, 2026, at 19:00. The results and finalists will be revealed on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Participants are expected to reflect original ideas and design approaches related to the announced topic, develop a strong theoretical framework, and articulate this scenario through architectural solutions. They are encouraged to present their ideas using various presentation and narrative techniques. There are no restrictions on the methods of expression, which may include architectural drawings, collages, models, schemes, diagrams, animations, and written text.
The advisory jury members for the competition include Canan Aksu (Chair of the Adana Branch of the Chamber of Architects), Nilüfer Kozikoğlu (Architect, Curator of the 3rd Adana Architecture Festival), Celal Abdi Güzer (Architect, Advisor of the 3rd Adana Architecture Festival), and Hakan Kısacık (Architect, Member of the Board of the Adana Branch of the Chamber of Architects). The main jury members are Ceyhun Baskın, Bora Işık, Sinan İzgi, Feride Önal, Nevzat Sayın, Eren Tümer, and Aydan Volkan, while Serhat Ulubay, Deniz Karabekiroğlu Yücer, Rukiye Tüter, and Fulya Gökşen Takva will serve as alternate jury members. M. Abdullah Kaycıoğlu and Burcu Korkut will handle the reporting duties for the competition.
