Grace Farms hosts the Founders Architecture Talk on Saturday 24 October 2026, from 2 pm to 3 pm EDT, as part of Archtober. Four founders take the stage: Francine Houben of Mecanoo, Dorte Mandrup of Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter, Sharon Prince of Grace Farms, with Julia Gamolina of Madame Architect moderating.
The conversation runs through material, sustainability and the relationship between a building and the landscape it sits in. Mandrup is expected to speak about the Ilulissat Icefjord Centre on the Greenland coast, a building set on bare rock above the fjord and designed to be walked over as much as entered.
Date and venue
The talk takes place at Grace Farms, 365 Lukes Wood Road, New Canaan, Connecticut. Tickets and the full programme are published on the Grace Farms website.
