Hospitality Senior Interior Designer – Rockwell Group

Rockwell Group is looking for a hospitality senior interior designer to join its team in Madrid, Spain. The role calls for at least ten years of experience in hospitality or high-end residential design and reports to the project lead, director or studio leader. The role

The senior interior designer develops planning and creative design concepts, prepares presentation and design drawings, and solves design problems, working on their own and with the project lead.

• supervising less senior designers or technicians and keeping a project phase on schedule
• coordinating with project directors on studio standards
• liaising with clients, operators, architects, sub-consultants and contractors
• checking compliance with building codes and accessibility requirements, and reviewing drawings, samples, mock-ups and submittals

Requirements

• The equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in architecture and/or interior design
• SketchUp, Rhino and/or Revit, plus AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign
• An eye for detail, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to help present to clients
• EU residency and fluency in English and Spanish
