Operating from studios in London and the Cotswolds, we focus on exceptional architecture for residential, hotel, and restaurant sectors both in the UK and internationally. Our portfolio showcases outstanding commissions from the UK alongside high-end residential and hospitality projects in Italy and multiple locations in Africa.
We are in search of a project architect capable of developing a strong concept and managing it through coordination, technical design, and construction phases. The position offers significant ownership of your work, direct interaction with clients and collaborators, and the opportunity to create buildings and destinations with enduring value.
How we work
Our approach to architecture considers context, landscape, people, materials, and the potential legacy of each project. We draw from architectural heritage without imitation, merging timeless principles with contemporary ways of living, making, and building.
Collaboration is key to our process. We effectively coordinate the efforts of craftspeople, makers, consultants, contractors, and conservation specialists. Both the process and outcome are important to us; we aim for the client experience to be thoughtful, engaging, and exceptionally well-managed.
What you will do:
- Oversee day-to-day project delivery from developed design to technical design, construction, and completion.
- Convert concept design into coordinated, buildable information, maintaining its relationship to place, material, and landscape.
- Create and manage high-quality drawings, specifications, schedules, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with consultants, specialist designers, contractors, and suppliers; proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Manage packages, programs, information flow, and key deliverables, keeping senior project leads informed.
- Confidently navigate UK planning, Building Regulations, procurement, and contract administration.
- Participate in client, consultant, and site meetings; communicate effectively and represent RPA with professionalism.
- Support and mentor architectural assistants, fostering a studio culture that is generous, curious, and precise.
- Travel within the UK and internationally as project needs arise.
What will you bring:
- A strong portfolio showcasing design judgement, technical skill, and an intuitive grasp of material, proportion, and context.
- ARB registration and a professional qualification recognized in the UK; RIBA membership is advantageous but not required.
- Typically, two or more years of post-Part 3 experience, including work on UK projects through RIBA Stages four to six.
- Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, heritage, rural, or landscape-led projects is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, procurement, and contract administration.
- Ability to coordinate multiple contributors while maintaining coherence of the architectural vision.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, along with strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365; familiarity with Enscape, Rhino, or similar visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent spoken and written English, intellectual curiosity, and a calm, collaborative demeanor.
Life at Estate Park Estate (our studio):

- The country studio serves as a hub for projects throughout the South West and Cotswolds, closely collaborating with clients, craftspeople, consultants, and construction teams from inception to completion.
- A culturally engaged studio that values sketching, research, materials, thoughtful discussions, and interdisciplinary knowledge sharing.
- A clear path to senior responsibility, influenced by design contributions, project delivery, leadership, and client trust.
