Morph Design Studio, a RIBA-chartered residential practice in the Surrey Hills near Epsom, is hiring a full-time architect. The listing was posted on 10 September 2026; salary is undisclosed.

Based in the picturesque Surrey Hills, Morph Design Studio is an esteemed architectural firm known for crafting exceptional bespoke residences. Our focus lies in high-end residential projects across Surrey, London, and the South East. With an increasing workload, we are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Part 3 architect or senior architectural technician to join our welcoming studio. This position presents an exciting opportunity to engage in the design process of beautifully crafted private homes, from the initial concept to final completion, taking charge of projects while collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and the broader team.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include overseeing a variety of bespoke residential projects, such as new builds, extensions, and refurbishments for private clients and developers.

The role includes:

  • leading projects through all RIBA work stages
  • preparing planning and Building Regulations packages
  • producing high-quality technical drawings and details
  • liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • attending site visits and project meetings
  • managing, supporting, and mentoring junior architectural team members
  • assisting with other studio projects when necessary

Essential requirements

We’re looking for someone who:

  • is a qualified Part 3 architect or an experienced architectural technician
  • has a minimum of two to three years of UK experience in residential projects
  • has experience managing and coordinating a small team
  • possesses strong knowledge of UK construction methods and detailing
  • has experience with Planning and Building Regulations applications
  • is capable of managing projects independently
  • is proficient in Vectorworks and SketchUp
  • has excellent design, technical, and presentation skills
  • has strong communication skills and is fluent in both spoken and written English
  • has experience working directly with clients and consultants
  • holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle for site visits
