Responding to the strong market demand for luxury residences, developers continue to break ground on numerous ambitious projects all over Miami. However, the one neighborhood that seems to attract the most prestigious brands is Brickell, boasting multiple eye-catching architectural marvels that reach for the sky.
While there are plenty of developments worth getting excited about, these are the three ultra-luxury Brickell condos that will redefine luxury living and transform the Magic City’s impressive skyline.
Mercedes-Benz Places
The Mercedes-Benz Places project in Brickell, Miami, is the European automotive giant’s first branded real-estate residential project in the US. While Mercedes has partnered on other non-residential ventures in the past (especially in Dubai, where they’re planning a Mercedes Benz city), this luxurious building marks the brand’s first foray into American residential real estate, and it’s nothing short of striking.
Imagined by award-winning firm SHoP Architects, Mercedes-Benz Places is set to deliver the automaker’s “Sensual Purity” design philosophy of precise lines, modern materials, floor-to-ceiling glass, and high-end finishes to Miami’s evolving skyline.
The branded condominium is located at 1133 SW 2nd Ave, Brickell, and is planned to stand 67 stories tall and feature up to 791 residences, including studios, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom homes.
In addition to living spaces, Mercedes-Benz Places will also provide an expansive amenity program, including rooftop pools, lounging areas, co-working spaces, spa-style wellness facilities, and entertainment lounges.
Mercedes-Benz Places is being developed by JDS Development Group, the same developer behind the ultra-luxury 888 Brickell Dolce & Gabbana tower, and is scheduled for completion in early 2028.

The Residences at 1428 Brickell
Another exciting new project being developed on the southern side of Miami’s financial district is The Residences at 1428 Brickell. Once completed, this luxurious tower will be one of the first residential buildings in the world to be partially powered by solar energy, and this sustainability is reflected in its exterior design.
Namely, the west side of the building’s façade features 500 photovoltaic-integrated glass panels, which, in addition to generating renewable energy, give it a modern, tech-inspired look. What’s more, the tower’s corners are slightly curved, which enhances its silhouette and gives it a softer look against the skyline.
The unique architectural design of The Residences at 1428 Brickell is the work of the internationally renowned yet Miami-based firm Arquitectonica, which has also imagined other remarkable projects such as Icon Brickell and Brickell City Centre.
On the inside, the Residences boast 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom, and 4-bedroom condos, and even larger penthouses that span up to 10,000 sq. ft. In addition, the tower’s residents will also get access to a collection of premier amenities, including a rooftop observatory, a resort deck, a wellness club, and an owners’ club.
The Residences at 1428 Brickell are currently under development by the visionary team of the Miami-based developer Ytech, and its completion date is scheduled for late 2028.
Baccarat Residences Miami
The Baccarat Residences Miami are another visually striking addition to the Magic City’s skyline, set to rise on the Brickell waterfront. Once it is finished, this ultra-luxurious building will be the first Baccarat-branded residential property to be conceived as a true standalone condominium, without a hotel downstairs.
Under the direction of Arquitectonica, the Baccarat Residences Miami is a true architectural marvel, designed to capture the essence of the fine craftsmanship the French luxury brand is known for. The building’s exterior features cascading vertical lines and a chiseled glass façade, resembling a Baccarat crystal.
Planned to soar 75 stories tall and reach a height of 848 feet, Baccarat Residences Miami is set to become one of the tallest buildings in Brickell. Inside, it will house 360 residences, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom condominiums, along with 8 exclusive penthouse units and 28 riverfront flats and duplexes.

In addition to living spaces, Baccarat Residences Miami will also feature five-star amenities, including a private marina, health and wellness facilities, pools, and fine dining options. What’s more, it will also offer hotel-style services, like concierge and butler service, and bring Baccarat’s signature hospitality in a residential setting.
Scheduled for completion in early 2028, Baccarat Residences Miami is being brought to life under the direction of developers Related Group and GTIS Partners.
Final Words
With more and more ongoing investments in premium developments, both Miami’s luxury real estate market and skyline continue to grow and evolve, and Brickell remains one of the main focal points of that transformation.
The neighborhood continues to draw the most ambitious projects and entice the world’s most established brands to invest, develop, and leave their mark on the Magic City’s architecture.
And while there are multiple waterfront developments that promise to elevate the standard of luxury living, the three projects mentioned above stand out from the rest due to their architectural ambition, distinctive concepts, and attention to detail.
Those interested in investing in upscale residences in prime urban locations should seriously consider them, as they offer strong long-term value in one of Miami’s fastest-growing districts.
