Tucked between the green peaks of Ma On Shan Country Park and the calm waters of Three Fathoms Cove, GO PARK Sai Sha marks Zaha Hadid Architects’ debut sports and commercial project in Asia. Part of Sun Hung Kai Properties’ integrated Sai Sha development, the complex spans 1.3 million square feet and offers a dynamic blend of indoor and outdoor recreation, shopping, and entertainment.
Since opening in January 2025, the destination has welcomed more than one million visitors, drawing both local residents and tourists. At its core lies a lively main piazza framed by cafés, restaurants, and retail spaces. The 300,000-square-foot sports and commercial hub is embedded in the area’s rolling terrain, its design inspired by the layout of Hong Kong’s historic mountain villages.
The architectural concept revolves around two guiding ideas: a “fabric landscape” that pulls the surrounding greenery into the heart of the site, and a gently rising ramp system that links multiple levels to create a “lifted village.” This interconnected design merges shopping, sporting venues, and public courtyards, all infused with views of the natural surroundings. Bridges and pathways knit together the complex, encouraging exploration, community events, and outdoor activities.
Public spaces flow seamlessly between indoor and open-air areas. Curving walkways and ramps connect each level, offering views over the main piazza and direct access to rooftop gardens. These expansive green roofs open onto panoramic vistas of the adjoining million-square-foot GO PARK Sports facilities and the shimmering waters of Three Fathoms Cove.
Outdoor amenities cater to a wide range of activities—from football and lacrosse to basketball, tennis, padel, pickleball, rock climbing, and golf. Visitors can also enjoy cycling and running tracks, adventure playgrounds, and guided nature tours through GO PARK Aqua that extend into the mountains and out to sea. Indoors, the facilities include a 1,500-seat multipurpose stadium for sports competitions, concerts, and community gatherings, as well as specialized spaces like a fencing school and a swimming academy with a 25-metre pool.
GO PARK Sai Sha is more than a sports destination—it’s a community anchor. Designed to reflect Sun Hung Kai Properties’ commitment to people-centered development, it offers spaces where residents and visitors can gather, play, and connect while enjoying the region’s natural beauty.
